The privacy eyewear created at Reflectacles is the culmination of my life’s work and experiences. Since 2005, I’ve made custom wood eyewear for individual clients with only my own two hands at Urban Spectacles. Being self taught, I know a thing or two about design and construction and it all follows through with Reflectacles Privacy Eyewear. I believe you will enjoy the quality of my frames just as much as their ability to maintain your privacy.

Privacy to me, is not something that I had to ‘get into’, rather I had not adopted through time to all of the new technologies that were thrown at us (some might say that I am not ‘well-adapted’). The flip phone I still use stays at home when I leave, I can navigate by sun, clouds and bird movements much better than flawed GPS, I just never enjoyed being in a picture since I was a kid, the list goes on. Of course, I’ve had to learn along the way to hopefully maintain a bit of privacy in this rapidly changing tech existence. I hope that by creating Reflectacles, they help maintain your privacy in situations where we have little understanding or control of the biometric tracking systems that are being used all around us and will be increasingly from here on out.

And it’s just me around here doing everything. There is no ‘team’ sitting on ass getting paid to do nothing all day. I enjoy playing with business structure just as much as I do facial recognition and eyewear. So if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and I’ll answer thoughtfully when I can. Or maybe you have some knowledge that I can learn from (I love these emails). Either way, Tech is not stopping so hopefully we can help each other with where it is all heading.
